Drs. Milan and Andrea Izak manage the unusual complication of a torn haptic caused by a faulty injector. Due to a missing upper haptic, an IOL exchange is necessary. They begin by deepening the bag using viscoelastic, and implant a new IOL underneath the torn IOL. The damaged IOL is cut through the center with scissors, enabling its removal through the main incision.
