    In this surgical video, Drs. Ignacio and Julio Manzitti demonstrate surgery of a traumatic cataract in a 4-year-old child. First, they performed vitectomy anterior and posterior to the dialysis and then introduced an Ahmed segment and a capsular tension ring to expand the bag. After implanting a monofocal IOL, they used the double-flanged technique to anchor the segment to the sclera wall. Tractional pupilloplasty was performed radially. Visual acuity was 20/70 by postoperative month 2.
