    Rescue of a Dislocated MA60AC with a 27-gauge Vitrectomy

    Cataract/Anterior Segment

In this 2nd-place winning video from the 2023 YO Video Competition, Dr. Jonathan Noonan demonstrates a method of rescuing a dislocated MA60AC lens from the posterior segment with a 27-gauge vitrectomy and 5 ports. The MA60AC is one of the most common 3-piece IOLs and is notoriously difficult to use with a Yamane technique. This rescue technique is relatively easy to perform and can save the patient from a more traumatic IOL exchange.
