Purpose: To describe clinical presentation and evaluation of contracted socket and discuss options of management for the same, highlighting important surgical steps of a dermis fat graft for socket reconstruction. Method: Video illustrating pearls in the management of contracted socket and describing in detail the dermis fat graft. Results: This video describes the clinical presentation and evaluation of contracted socket, practical aspects of applying the classification systems described for grading the contraction and management options and outcome of dermis fat graft for socket reconstruction. Conclusion: Dermis fat graft is an excellent option for replacing volume and surface loss in severely contracted sockets.
