Dr. Brenda Bohnsack presents a case of an 8-year-old boy with bilateral uveitis who was referred for uncontrolled IOP in his left eye. At 6 years of age, he was diagnosed with bilateral idiopathic uveitis. The maximum documented IOP was 32 mm Hg right eye, and 38 mm Hg left eye. He was unable to tolerate acetazolamide due to gastrointestinal issues. He was on methotrexate, but was unable to taper off topical steroids.
