    Trocar-Assisted Iridodialysis Repair

    AAO 2022 Video Program
    Cataract/Anterior Segment

Iridodialysis implies the disinsertion of the iris root from the ciliary body, and it can be iatrogenic, traumatic, or, rarely, congenital in origin. Corectopia, or pupil displacement, is often observed after iridodialysis repair. Several techniques have been proposed to address this clinical scenario; in this video, Dr. Ashvin Agarwal presents the approach of trocar-assisted iridodialysis repair. Trocar-assisted iridodialysis repair solves the problem of iridodialysis by a simple technique using a trocar anterior chamber maintainer.

Financial Disclosures: Dr. Ashvin Agarwal discloses a financial relationship with Elisar (Owner of a Company).
