Dr. Arya received his medical degree from the Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education in Rohtak, India, and completed his residency at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He went on to complete his fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, acquiring experience in general ophthalmology, lasers, phacoemulsification, and vitreo-retinal surgery. He is currently a research associate at the Yale Retina Service in New Haven, Connecticut, and has authored and collaborated on more than a dozen papers.
