Cintia F. Gomi, MD, is an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, San Diego. She attended Medical School at the University of São Paulo in Brazil. She completed residency in Ophthalmology and two-year fellowship in Strabismus and Ocular Motility Disorders at the same University. She also completed a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at University of California, San Diego. Her research interests include childhood disabilities and adult strabismus, particularly in thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy.
