Dr. Shiroma is currently a research fellow with Dr. Mark Sherwood at the University of Florida. He trained in ophthalmology at the University of Campinas in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and completed a clinical glaucoma fellowship with Dr. Vital Costa at the same institution. His research interests include glaucoma, wound healing, and drainage implant surgery.
