  • Dr. Saidel specializes in diseases of the cornea, external disease, refractive surgery, and uveitis. He earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy and biochemistry at the University of Arizona. His medical degree is from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and he received ophthalmology training from Tulane University. He completed a fellowship in cornea, uveitis, and refractive surgery at the University of California at San Francisco's (UCSF) Proctor Foundation, and he is currently an assistant professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the University of Chicago.
