Dr. Vaphiades is a professor in the departments of Ophthalmology, Neurology, and Neurosurgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is chief of the neuro-ophthalmology and electrophysiology services at the Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital and the University Hospital.
