  • Dr. Turbin is assistant professor at the Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark as well as attending at several other institutions. His awards and honors are numerous as are his publications and invited lectures. After graduating from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Dr. Turbin completed his internship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City and his residency in ophthalmology at the New York University School of Medicine in Bellevue. He obtained four clinical and research fellowships in neuro-opthalmology. Dr. Turbin’s major research interests include central retinal artery occlusion, pseudotumor cerebri, temporal arteritis, thyroid disease, orbital surgery, and meningioma.
