Dr. Yiu is currently an Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology, and Physiology and Biophysics at Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Ocular Surface Center. In addition, he is the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Ophthalmology at USC Keck School of Medicine. A cornea specialist, Dr. Yiu pursues research interests that include the mechanism and cellular control of lacrimal gland fluid and protein secretion; regulation of tear formation and its relation to dry eye and environmental illness and visual impairment; and corneal limbal stem cells and its role in ocular surface diseases and tissue engineering.
