Dr. Schneider graduated from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1990. He spent 1 year as an internal medicine intern at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in ophthalmology at the esteemed Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital. An additional year studying cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery at the Phillips Eye Institute in Minneapolis followed. Dr. Schneider has a special interest in corneal refractive surgery, cataract and intraocular lens implant surgery, and corneal disease.
