Question:
Can you have an eyelash lift two weeks before cataract surgery?
Answer:
Eyelash lifts (a procedure performed at a beauty salon that permanently curls eyelashes upwards) can use various methods and occasionally use chemicals.
While I don’t know of any reason to not do this, I would recommend against it out of an abundance of caution. You will only have one cataract surgery in each eye in your life and I would not want to introduce anything that even in the faintest of possibilities could create any sort of adverse consequences. I would suggest doing the lift about a month or so after your cataract surgery.
