Save the Date: New AAO 2024 Event — Saturday Night Celebration
On Saturday, Oct. 19, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m., the Academy will host the must-attend social event of the annual meeting! It’s your chance to have fun with friends and mingle with ophthalmology’s luminaries, all while supporting ophthalmic education.
This event replaces the Orbital Gala, which began over 20 years ago as the Foundations premier fundraising event. Thanks to each of you for helping to make that journey a success. Now we are building upon that success with an even bigger event, the Saturday Night Celebration, hosted by the Academy.
Proceeds will benefit the Academy's educational programs for the eye care team, including our member ophthalmologists, ophthalmologists-in-training, medical students, and allied health professionals, to protect sight and empower lives. Your support will allow us to focus our efforts on providing the very best training including cutting edge VR simulations and surgical coaching/mentoring initiatives.
