Carl Zeiss Meditec has released a more efficient, easier-to-use version of its Forum eye care data management system. The system allows for remote, interactive review of patients' visual field data and combines Cirrus optical coherence tomography and Humphrey Field Analyzer perimetry information, according to a company press release.
The new system also incorporates integration tools that allow for third-party instruments and IT systems to be included with standard interfaces.
"Besides increasing practice efficiency", said Dr. Ludwin Monz, president and CEO of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, "the new Forum supports ophthalmologists and optometrists in making clinical decisions based on relevant clinical case data."
