    Ocular Pathology/Oncology

Iris melanoma: (Panel A) a triangular-shaped, raised pigmented lesion on the iris. (Panel B, arrow), On gonioscopy, the lesion occluded the drainage angle, which appeared quite pigmented with no evidence of ring spread. Despite poor pupillary dilatation, an area of corresponding secondary cataract was seen (Panel C, arrow). Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) showed moderate internal reflectivity consistent with a diagnosis of iris melanoma.
