This video describes intra-arterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma, a new approach shown to be effective in tumors classified in groups C and D, as well as some in group E. Vision-threatening ocular vascular toxicities may occur in association with the treatment, but systemic events such as stroke and death have not been observed. Recurrent retinoblastoma after failed chemoreduction may also be treated with this new technique.
