The patient underwent 25-gauge pars plana vitrectomy and nasal pulling of some fibrotic membranes, and temporal retinotomy was done in order to pull a massive subretinal fibrotic band that was going from the nasal to the temporal side through the fovea. After air exchange, endolaser photocoagulation was done, followed by Oxane 5700 silicone oil injection.
