In this video presented during the Retinaws symposium at the 2011 Annual Meeting, Dr. Carl Awh describes his preferred approach for managing a small bullous retinal detachment. Using a bimanual technique, Dr. Awh scleral depresses the eye to bring the break into view and aspirates fluid from the subretinal space through a posterior retinotomy, avoiding the need for perfluorocarbon liquids (PFCL).
