A 56-year-old patient with diabetes presented with counting fingers vision and a tractional retinal detachment in the right eye. Dr. Adyanthaya carefully segments and removes the fibrous membrane to repair the detachment, followed by peeling the internal limiting membrane to prevent future epimacular membrane proliferation. He finishes with panretinal photocoagulation and an air bubble. The surgery was a success, and the patient’s vision improved to 20/40 at 1 month postop.
