    DSEK Flap in Vitreous Cavity

In this presentation from the Retinaws symposium at the 2011 Annual Meeting, Dr. Gaurav Shah demonstrates retrieval of a dislocated Descemet-stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) flap. Because visualization is difficult through standard instrumentation, Dr. Shah uses a 20-gauge endoscope to locate the flap. The DSEK flap is too rubbery and tough to remove with a vitrector so the tissue is pulled out manually through a side port incision.
