Endoillumination-Assisted Scleral Buckling

In this surgical video, Dr. Alexandre Assi describes a new surgical technique for endoillumination-assisted scleral buckling surgery. This method offers many advantages such as improved ergonomics, enhanced visualization of intraocular structures and is better for teaching for surgical assistants. Using endoillumination to assist with scleral buckling , 23 patients obtained good anatomical and functional outcomes with no complications.
