In this surgical video, Dr. Andre Witkin offers tips to fixate an enVista MX60 lens (Bausch + Lomb) to the sclera using Gore-Tex suture. One advantage of the MX60, he explains, is that it does not opacify with gas. The key step is to ensure the sutures are correctly oriented under and then over the haptic on both sides. He then threads the nasal suture, inserts the IOL and threads the temporal sutures. Checking for proper suture orientation is easiest when the eye is well dilated.
