Technique for Optic Disc Pit Maculopathy

In this surgical video, Dr. Shobhana Sharma introduces a her technique for optic disc pit maculopathy. Current treatment options for this condition include laser treatment, vitrectomy or vitrectomy with PVD induction, among others. In this new technique, Dr. Sharma performs a fovea-sparing ILM peel and stuffs the peel into the optic disc pit to prevent recurrence.
