An Unusual Cause for Vitreous Hemorrhage

In this clinical video, Drs. Matthew Tennant and Uriel Rubin present a case of a 67-year-old female patient with a sudden drop of vision due to vitreous hemorrhage. A racemose hemangioma was discovered during vitrectomy. The patient had undergone neurosurgical treatment for a vascular abnormality of the brain several years ago. Ultimately, a diagnosis of Wyburn-Mason syndrome was made. The retina fluorescein angiogram, brain MRI and a brief summary of the pathology are shown in the video.
