Importance of PRAME in Uveal Melanoma

In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. J. William Harbour explains why PRAME (preferentially expressed antigen in melanoma) is important in uveal melanoma. It is often used as part of clinical prognostic testing because it associates with worse patient outcomes. However, PRAME may also be a useful treatment target for patients with high-risk uveal melanoma. New research is focused on using PRAME in immunotherapy and targeting its role in aneuploidy.
