If the posterior pressure in the eye is too high during a DMEK, the iris pushes forward and it can be difficult to not only insert the tissue injector but also to get the tissue to release from the injector tip. Dr. Christopher Sales demonstrates how to manage this situation by carefully alternating adding small amounts of volume and releasing small amounts of pressure within the eye.
