Dr. Agarwal is director of Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital in Chennai, India. He is also professor of ophthalmology at Ramachandra Medical College in Chennai.
Dr. Agarwal earned degrees from Gujarat University in Gujarat, India, the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, U.K., and the College of Ophthalmologists in London.
He is the pioneer of numerous cataract surgery procedures. At his center, he trains doctors from around the world to perform procedures including phacoemulsification, bimanual phacoemulsification and LASIK. Dr. Agarwal is also the author of many books and peer-reviewed articles.
