  • Mr. Hicks is a doctoral student in rehabilitation science at the University of Florida. He currently works with Dr. Mark Sherwood in the Ophthalmology department and Dr. William Mann in the Occupational Therapy department, where he has an alumni fellowship and is involved in various educational and research projects related to vision impairments and their effect on functional performance. Mr. Hicks is also a member of the National Older Driver Research Training Center at the University of Florida. He runs a private practice in occupational therapy that specializes in the treatment of patients with vision impairments. Mr. Hicks holds a masters of science degree in occupational therapy and is completing a second masters degree in visual disabilities specializing in vision rehabilitation therapy and orientation and mobility.
