Dr. Edmond is an assistant professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine and a pediatric care specialist at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She completed her medical degree and residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the University of Iowa. Dr. Edmond contributes significantly to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, having served as a member of the Academy’s Recredentialing Committee, the Lifelong Education for the Ophthalmologist (LEO) Committee, and most recently the editorial review board for the Pediatrics Section of the Basic and Clinical Science Course.
