  • Dr. Miller is a professor of Clinical Ophthalmology in the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine and a senior faculty member of the UCLA Laser Refractive Center. Dr. Miller’s practice is dedicated to cataract and refractive surgery, combining the latest advances in research and technology with the highest standard of patient care. He has personally performed more than 6,000 eye surgeries during his career. His refractive surgical interests include laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK), photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), and phakic intraocular lens implants. Dr. Miller is recognized locally and internationally for his teaching, research, and patient care activities. He travels and lectures extensively. He has delivered more than 60 invited lectures at international meetings, and more than 150 lectures at local and national meetings. He has organized more than 25 instructional courses for physicians at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, as well as meetings of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and other organizations. Dr. Miller has an active research interest in patient outcomes and is the principal investigator for several clinical trials at the Jules Stein Eye Institute.
