Dr. Bynoe attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he earned a medical degree in 1991. After an internship in internal medicine, he completed an ophthalmology residency in 1995 at Washington University's St. Louis School of Medicine. He then returned to Johns Hopkins University to complete a 2-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery in 1997 at the Wilmer Eye Institute. After 7 years in private practice, Dr. Bynoe founded Retina Associates of Coral Springs, PA, in August 2004. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles on diseases of the retina and is a former contributor to the Academy’s Specialty Information Team (SIT).
