Dr. Braswell is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham specializing in Comprehensive and Neuro-Ophthalmology. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi, School of Medicine, and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He subsequently completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma. He is currently on full-time faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
