Stephen G. Slade, MD, FACS, is a surgeon at Slade and Baker Vision in Houston, Texas. He serves as the medical director for LenSx Lasers Inc., and is an advisor/consultant to Alcon Laboratories, Inc., Bausch & Lomb, IntraLase Corp. and STAAR Surgical Company.
Dr. Slade did his undergraduate study at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the University of Texas, where he graduated summa cum laude. He attended medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center. During his final elective year of medical school, he studied at Guy's Hospital, London, England. He completed his residency in ophthalmology in New Orleans followed by a fellowship in corneal surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.
