    Tale of Two Distinct Inflammations

    8th Annual Global Video Contest

    Cataract/Anterior Segment, Cornea/External Disease, Uveitis

This is a series of 3 post-cataract inflammatory complications with 2 distinct etiologies. The first 2 cases demonstrate specific post-cataract inflammation following administration of non-replicating adenoviral vector SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, the first with bilateral anterior segment inflammation and the second extending into the vitreous cavity; both resolved with steroid therapies. The third post-cataract inflammation is “toxic endotheliitis” following administration of high-strength topical nepafenac 0.3%, requiring endothelial keratoplasty.
