Technique for Corneal Patch

Dr. Zeba Syed uses a corneal patch graft to repair a chronic corneal leak in the area of an overhanging bleb. After debulking the area around the leak, a 3-mm dermal punch was used to create a partial thickness trephination around the defect. Further debulking was done to prepare a clean bed, and a 3-mm patch graft was sutured in place.
