Iridex introduces four new surgical products

Iridex Corporation introduced four new products at the Academy’s 2013 Annual Meeting in New Orleans earlier this month:

• A new version of the TxCell Pattern Scanning Laser Delivery System.
• A new Iridex MicroPulse Laser Trabeculoplasty (MLT) lens manufactured by Ocular Instruments. Distributed exclusively through Iridex, it is designed to increase efficiency and precision of MLT for the treatment of glaucoma.
• A portfolio of Peregrine Surgical-branded single-use 27-gauge laser probes compatible with 27-gauge vitrectomy systems used in retina surgery.
• A GreenTip Membrane Scraper, available in 23 and 25 gauges, offering a single-use surgical device intended for specialized retinal surgery and to maximize visualization against the retina.
