Japan approves retinal laser

OD-OS has received marketing approval in Japan for its Navilas Laser System.

The German company also announced that Ellex Japan, Osaka, will be the marketing authorization holder and exclusive distributor for the Navilas in Japan.

Recently approved in Canada, the Navilas integrates a retinal photocoagulator with a digital fundus camera. It is indicated for retinal imaging and for diagnosis and treatment of pathologies in the posterior segments of the eye.
