Zeiss invests in radiotherapy for wet AMD

Carl Zeiss Meditec Inc. has signed a collaboration agreement with Oraya Therapeutics to develop the company’s low-energy radiation therapy for wet AMD.

Zeiss will provide an undisclosed amount of funding to Oraya for up to two years to further Oraya’s growth strategy, and receive rights in the company as large as a majority stake after two years.
