Meesmann epithelial dystrophy. Intraepithelial cysts are clearly seen throughout all layers of epidermis. Rupture of cysts on epithelial surface results in scalloped appearance to epithelium. Cysts are filled with periodic acid-Schiff-positive cellular debris. (Periodic acid-Schiff, original magnification x 100).
