Rod–cone dystrophy (associated with a pathogenic RDH12 variant) complicated by cystoid macular edema (CME). Montage fundus photograph (A) and spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) (B) at presentation show cysts in the foveal area. CDVA was 20/50. C, SD-OCT 3 months after treatment was initiated with oral acetazolamide, 500 mg daily, shows a substantial reduction in macular edema. CDVA was 20/40.
