In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Edward Wladis demonstrates endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. Under endoscopic visualization, he removes the mucosa overlying the bone and drills the bone to reveal the lacrimal sac. He then makes an incision along the entire length of the sac. The lacrimal system can subsequently be opened by passing stents through the lacrimal sac and retrieved in the patient’s nose.
