She also finds this helpful to show patients what you’re seeing and to help them understand their disease burden. For treatments, there are multiple options with injections or laser. If there is swelling, she recommends starting with several injections. However, clinicians should take compliance or follow-up issues into consideration when deciding on a treatment choice.
