    Novel One-Handed CyPass Trimmer

    1-Minute Video

    Glaucoma, Surgical Management

This 1-Minute Video demonstrates a novel device that can be used to safely trim a malpositioned CyPass microstent. The instrument is inserted through a 1.4-mm incision and has a flat blunted tip with a curved cutting surface. A Swan Jacob gonioprism can be used to visualize the malpositioned stent. The surgeon can then trim the tip of the stent, eliminating the corneal-CyPass interaction.

Surgeons can purchase the Grover-Emanual-Fellman CyPass Trimmers from Epsilon.
