In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Jeff Stetler discusses 2 important retinoscopy findings in patients with keratoconus: the scissoring reflex and Charleaux or “oil droplet” sign. Knowledge of these findings can improve the early diagnosis of keratoconus, especially crucial in the era of corneal crosslinking therapy, which can often prevent progression of keratoconus before loss of BCVA.
