Vitreous Abscess Venting

Drs. Ehmann and Hsu demonstrate vitreous abscess venting in a 72-year-old who developed endophthalmitis following vitrectomy. They place a vent and a 23-gauge trocar, momentarily increasing the pressure to displace the vitreous abscess out of the eye.
