En bloc technique. Initially, small-well core vitrectomy is performed. (A) Posterior hyaloid is entered and, typically, horizontal scissors are used to dissect vitreous from fibrovascular attachment. (B) Once this has been accomplished, vitreous cutter is used to remove remaining vitreous and FVP is done en bloc fashion.
