Cornea/External Disease
Superficial calcium (in Bowman’s layer) is made evident by transillumination of the cornea by light reflected from the iris; the corneal parallelepiped is to the left of the ovoid calcium deposit, which is highlighted by the (out of focus) light from the iris.
